Congratulations to Freshman clarinetist Audrey Shih who was chosen by the Columbus Symphony Orchestra to perform as part of the Young Musicians Showcase at the Ohio Theatre on May 3rd. She performed a recital in the Galbraith Pavilion prior to the concert by the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. Audrey was chosen for this honor through her participation in the CSO's Young Musicians Competition. Way to go, Audrey!
Assistance for the West, Texas band
Thanks to everyone who donated to assist the West, Texas band program as they recover from the factory explosion that damaged their schools and their community. We received over $450 at the concert and the band boosters are contributing an additional $100.
Spring Color Guard Clinics
Our spring color guard clinics will begin on Tuesday, April 23 from 5-7:30 in the music wing at Worthington Kilbourne High School. If you have any questions, please contact guard instructor Aimee Knapp at aknapp@kilbournebands.org.
Memorial Day Parade Info
As usual, the marching band will be performing in the Worthington Memorial Day Parade this year. This will be the 2012 band and will NOT include new members. New members start for rehearsals leading to the July 4th parade. Please download the Memorial Day parade info document by clicking here.

Website Revamp
Welcome to the new home of Kilbourne Bands! We have recently revamped our entire website. Users will notice that the new site is fully mobile friendly for smart phones and tables and that the pages are "responsive" which means our content automatically adjusts when the window is resized. For any new members or parents looking for specific items referenced from a brochure or post card, please see the information below to get you to your content.
Marching Band Brochure and/or Color Guard Post-Card Directions
The marching band brochure and guard post cards encouraged new parents and students to click on the "Marching Band" link in the main menu followed by the "Prospective Member" link. With our new website revamp, the "Prospective Member" section has been moved to it's own separate link in the main menu of our homepage.
